Stopped off for a hot drink and a cake after touring the castle and grounds. It was just before closing time but the staff were still very helpful. The carrot cake was one the best carrot cakes I've ever had.

After a forty-five-minute walk up to the castle, we were pleasantly surprised to discover a quality tea room. The atmosphere was inviting and food quality impressive. Our toasted-to-order wrap with 2 sides and an iced coffee was great!

A really pleasant surprise at the end of a decent walk over a decent mountain. The staff were really nice and very helpful in meeting my partners needs as a vegan. The only issue that I’d have is that the tea is Barrys (Cork) and not Lyons (Dublin). This is clearly a blatant case of cultural disrespect. Everyone knows that everything from Dublin is better than from anywhere else. Finally, I’d be more than happy to leave my wife and children just to spend as little as a day in the loving arms of whoever makes the caramel squares.
